Sometimes called “Penny’s Path” after Penny Durant, this is an easy one mile hike through Durant’s vineyards, olive groves, lavender fields, and sheep pastures.  Good for a mid-day excursion, this is ideally located to be used as a hiking break between local wine tastings.  Open May-October during Durant's normal business hours.

Evergreen Aviation and Space Museum

Home of Howard Hughes' Spruce Goose, a WWII-era plane made of wood, with the largest wingspan of any aircraft that has ever flown.  Also home to an impressive collection of WWII-era aircraft and NASA artifacts.  Good for a half-day excursion.
